About The Position

The Consumer Experience Senior Product Designer will be responsible for realizing the vision and delivering world-class user experiences and product design globally for Sanofi products and ecosystem. This role involves partnering with Product and Engineering teams to develop amazing user experiences and playing a key role in driving the future of Sanofi CX. The designer will collaborate with product design leads, research, product, and engineering partners across the organization to build consumer-focused design solutions at scale, while cultivating a culture of user-centric design. The position requires responsiveness, flexibility, and the ability to succeed in an open and collaborative peer environment, as well as lead projects forward in the face of ambiguity. Top-notch Product Design skills/capabilities and Human-Centered Design process and methodologies are a must. This role is part of the digital engine driving Sanofi’s transformation, where AI, automation, and bold experimentation power faster science and smarter decisions, helping to build the first biopharma company powered by AI at scale.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Design, HCI or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience designing products.
  • Dynamic design portfolio that shows your design process, and shipped products is a must.
  • Experience with iterative design sprints and lean, Agile development process.
  • Product Design skills and Human-Centered design methods in practice that meet user needs and business goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex problems in developing holistic solutions for product and its UX ecosystems.
  • Mastery of design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Miro, Adobe creative suite and other design tools.
  • Knowledge and experience with Design Systems and all various platforms human interface guidelines: iOS, Android, LMS and connected platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and an ability to prioritize and organize to meet tasks and deadlines.
  • Experience sketching, concept creation and wireframing, producing IA, sitemaps and user flows, with tap able/clickable rapid design prototypes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen, articulate positions, and advocate designs.
  • Must be a vibrant and engaging communicator who can present concepts and ideas to all levels of the company.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in relevant field a plus.
  • Additional design skills in related fields, including filmmaking, motion design, multimedia design is a plus.
  • Understanding of web technologies such HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with pharma/health technology is a plus.
  • Strong attention and precision to detail, especially in crafting the ideas, education across different functional teams and following through with successful execution.
  • You bring the ability and interest to help lead cultural shifts in the organization including Digital transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Fluency and experience in the design thinking process.
  • Drive the unified user experience in collaboration with colleagues, business and technology leaders; respond to organizational changes as they occur.
  • Experience providing key contributions to innovative, successful products.
  • Contribute to all phases of Product Design work: distilling research, design ideation, prototyping, final spec design, and implementation.
  • Integrate Design within the Consumer Experience and digital development process and be an advocate for Human-centered design within Digital, partner organizations and stakeholder groups.
  • Collaborate with Product Design Leads to define product design and experience for Sanofi Digital including continual improvement and innovation.
  • Ensure Design brings the best creative thinking to the product/business/customer with consistency and within committed timeframes.
  • Evangelize and share best practices in striving to achieve “Sanofi One Experience and Design”.
  • Define and apply user-centric design measurement criteria and test to ensure the User Experience delivers positive results.
  • Drive and document product design standards and patterns across products systemically.
  • Collaborate with team on process improvements and tool implementation to support those processes.
  • Develop, implement, and shepherd continuous customer relationships and UX and Design opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills - ability to communicate effectively with a global enterprise organization.
  • Can flex and adapt to audiences at all levels and across stakeholders/partners.
