About The Position

We're looking for a Consumer Bankruptcy Specialist I to join our growing team. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of verifiable work experience, or Bachelor's degree
At least 1 year of experience in Consumer Bankruptcy, Consumer Lending, Mortgage Servicing, Collections, or a related financial services field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume production environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Monitor bankruptcy cases through electronic court systems and review court dockets
Identify when legal action is required and coordinate with local counsel
Track payment delinquencies and account activity
Review bankruptcy plans and determine treatment requirements
Monitor NDC and Trustee websites for claim status updates
Respond to inquiries from clients, attorneys, vendors, debtors, and internal teams
Analyze and process incoming mail and court notifications
Maintain accurate file documentation and ensure timely file closure
Support additional operational and compliance-related tasks as needed
