About The Position

We are looking for a Consulting Manager to join the PACE Consulting team. This is an excellent opportunity to support our clients at Rio Tinto in delivering sustainable, high-value projects by combining PACE’s consulting expertise with Rio Tinto’s operational knowledge and experience. Reporting to the General Manager of PACE Montreal, and working within a stimulating and dynamic environment as part of the PACE team, you will: Work with the PACE team and business leaders to identify and scope consulting projects which create value for Product Group assets and Functions. Autonomously deliver one or more projects at a time, managing the interface and ensuring strong collaboration with the project client and their teams. Develop and lead the project work plan for a combined team of consultants and client team members to deliver outcomes. Contribute to the development of PACE, both in Montreal & globally, by recruiting, coaching and mentoring PACE consultants etc.

Requirements

• A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience leading consulting projects within a top-tier consulting firm.
• Proven ability to frame and solve complex business problems, synthesizing diverse inputs into clear insights that inform decisions and drive performance improvement
• A strong understanding of business improvement principles and practices, with a proven ability to deliver tangible results for clients.
• Ability to lead initiatives beyond projects, such as recruitment, people development, and marketing.
• Willingness and availability to travel throughout Canada and abroad.
• Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken. Rio Tinto is a global company and the duties of this position may require daily collaboration with colleagues, teams, or partners based outside Quebec.
