About The Position
Guidehouse’s Managed Care practice, within the broader Provider Advisory group, assists hospitals, health systems, private equity-backed organizations, and other providers in navigating a challenging and complex environment to find strategic pathways leading to sustainable success. The practice helps clients develop strategies to improve outcomes in payer negotiations, leveraging analytical exercises like benchmarking and financial scenario modeling, combined with critical thinking, to inform managed care strategies and unlock organizational value. Guidehouse's investment in technology, including AI and automation, further enhances service offerings. Consulting Analysts support project teams on client engagements and internal projects. Key responsibilities include client and project management, data analysis, solution implementation, and generating project results. Analysts will develop and create quality deliverables, gather and analyze data, identify gaps and trends, and make recommendations regarding baseline performance, structure, best practices, and benchmarks. The role offers a defined career path with opportunities for development in specialized industry knowledge and consulting skills, with potential progression to Senior Consultant.
Requirements
- Must still be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program through Fall 2026 and graduate by Summer 2027.
- Would not require sponsorship now or anytime in the future to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves
- Degree concentration in Business, Business Administration, Management, Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Health Administration, Health Informatics, Health Management, or similar is preferred.
- Previous internship or work experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Business Analytics software Access, SAS or R, and/or SQL.
- Strong knowledge of and application of healthcare research resources.
- Strong quantitative and organizational skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent quantitative analysis skills.
- Ability to translate data into graphic or visual representations.
- Some travel may be required from time to time, depending on client needs.
