Consulting Actuary – Retirement & Pension
About The Position
Bruno is connecting with credentialed actuaries who combine technical expertise, consulting experience, and a strong understanding of retirement benefit programs. The opportunity is intended for professionals who advise clients, interpret actuarial results, and provide guidance on complex pension and retirement matters—not only prepare valuations. Areas of interest include corporate, public-sector, and multiemployer retirement plans. Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant actuarial experience.
- Professional actuarial credentials such as ASA, FSA, EA, or MAAA, as applicable to the specialty.
- Experience performing and reviewing defined benefit pension valuations.
- Knowledge of pension funding, accounting, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience communicating actuarial results and recommendations to clients.
- Strong project management and technical review capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements and competing priorities.

- Experience in defined benefit pension consulting.
- Experience with public pension systems.
- Experience with multiemployer retirement plans.
- Experience with pension and OPEB valuations.
- Experience with ASC 715 and GASB financial reporting.
- Experience with retirement plan funding strategies.
