About The Position
The Consultant will serve as a course director teaching the Nuclear Pharmacy 1 and Nuclear Pharmacy 2 courses within the College of Pharmacy. The role will also assist with the online Nuclear Pharmacy Certificate Program.
Requirements
- PharmD.
- Prior teaching or instructional experience.
- Knowledge of basic course direction.
Responsibilities
- Design course materials.
- Coordinate and deliver the course.
- Perform student and course assessment.
- Provide instruction in didactic, laboratory, or specialty-rotation settings in accordance with curriculum and program standards.
- Evaluate and assess student performance through evaluations and other assessments.
- Guide and support students through mentoring.
- Stay up to date with advances and best practices in nuclear pharmacy.
- Adhere to institutional and programmatic policies, including radiation safety and compliance.
- Model professionalism, ethical conduct, and effective communication.
- Plan and schedule tasks and projects to maintain control of workflow.
