About The Position
The Consultant will serve as a course director in the College of Pharmacy, teaching Nuclear Pharmacy 1 and Nuclear Pharmacy 2. The role also assists with the online Nuclear Pharmacy Certificate Program. Responsibilities include designing course materials, coordinating and delivering courses, and assessing students and courses.
Requirements
- PharmD.
- Prior teaching or instructional experience.
- Knowledge of basic course direction.
Responsibilities
- Design course materials.
- Coordinate and deliver courses.
- Perform student and course assessments.
- Provide instruction in didactic and laboratory settings or specialty rotations in accordance with curriculum and program standards.
- Evaluate and assess student performance through evaluations and other assessments.
- Guide and support students through mentoring.
- Stay up to date with advances in nuclear pharmacy and maintain current knowledge of best practices.
- Adhere to institutional and programmatic policies, including radiation safety and compliance.
- Model professionalism, ethical conduct, and effective communication.
- Plan and schedule tasks and projects to maintain control of workflow.
