About The Position

Oliver Wyman is seeking full-time, entry-level consultants graduating in 2027. As a consultant, you will work with colleagues and clients worldwide to solve complex problems and drive meaningful change. Project activities include research, surveys, interviews, and data analysis to gain insights, assess problems, and structure solutions. You will learn core business skills, including how to structure and execute impactful work. Candidates will rank preferences for practice areas: Generalist Consulting for Broad Industry Exposure, Banking & Financial Services Strategy & Risk, AI, Data, Analytics, & Advanced Applications, Technology-Driven Transformation and Change Implementation, and Private Equity, Deals, Diligence & Post Transaction. Requirements

  • Undergraduate student (Class of 2027) completing a four-year degree
  • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required for U.S. office locations.
  • Initiative, intuition and creativity with a strong background in problem solving and analytics.
  • Value extracurricular activities and evidence of leading an interesting and impactful life outside of studies/work.
  • Technical or quantitative academic background (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics) or equivalent practical knowledge from internships, co‑ops, and / or similar experience (for specialized roles)
  • Proficiency in at least one programming or data language (for example Python, SQL, or R) and comfort working with data and analytics teams (for specialized roles)
  • Strong quantitative and structured problem‑solving skills: ability to form clear hypotheses, identify the right data, design analytical approaches, and draw defensible conclusions (for specialized roles)
  • Practical understanding of software architecture, development lifecycles, cloud and enterprise deployment patterns, and how to partner effectively with engineering and operations teams (for specialized roles)
  • Aptitude for solving business problems with technology: ability to take an ambiguous business objective, reimagine workflows and processes by leveraging technology, and propose pragmatic solutions while considering value, risk, and delivery complexity (for specialized roles)
