Requirements

  • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required for U.S. office locations. Oliver Wyman does not offer sponsorship for this position. CPT and OPT are restricted forms of work authorization.
  • Undergraduate student (Class of 2027) completing a four-year degree.
  • Initiative, intuition, and creativity with a strong background in problem solving and analytics.
  • Candidates are required to rank their preferences among the following practice areas: Generalist Consulting for Broad Industry Exposure, Banking & Financial Services Strategy & Risk, AI, Data, Analytics, & Advanced Applications, Technology-Driven Transformation and Change Implementation, Private Equity, Deals, Diligence & Post Transaction.
  • For AI, Data, Analytics & Advanced Applications: Technical or quantitative academic background (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics) or equivalent practical knowledge from internships, co‑ops, and / or similar experience.
  • For AI, Data, Analytics & Advanced Applications: Proficiency in at least one programming or data language (for example Python, SQL, or R) and comfort working with data and analytics teams.
  • For AI, Data, Analytics & Advanced Applications: Strong quantitative and structured problem‑solving skills: ability to form clear hypotheses, identify the right data, design analytical approaches, and draw defensible conclusions.
  • For Technology-Driven Transformation and Change Implementation: Technical or quantitative academic background (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics) or equivalent practical knowledge from internships, co‑ops, and / or similar experience.
  • For Technology-Driven Transformation and Change Implementation: Practical understanding of software architecture, development lifecycles, cloud and enterprise deployment patterns, and how to partner effectively with engineering and operations teams.
  • For Technology-Driven Transformation and Change Implementation: Aptitude for solving business problems with technology: ability to take an ambiguous business objective, reimagine workflows and processes by leveraging technology, and propose pragmatic solutions while considering value, risk, and delivery complexity.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research, surveys, and interviews.
  • Analyze data to gain insights, assess problems, and structure solutions.
