About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody values of excellence, compassion, teamwork, and purpose to join their Provider Recruitment team in the role of Consultant - Talent Acquisition Intermediate. This role partners with assigned customers to provide talent acquisition support. The consultant manages a comprehensive recruiting process, including posting positions, reviewing applicants, scheduling interviews, candidate selections, pre-hire preparation, and ensuring successful arrivals on first dates of employment. They apply basic total rewards strategies to ensure the compensation package is market competitive, aligns with customer expectations, and aligns with candidate skills and abilities. This position also assists with workforce planning analysis to ensure effective recruiting strategies, guides leaders in selecting the best talent, and provides project management support, particularly surrounding passive candidate sourcing strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field required, or equivalent years of experience.
  • Knowledge of compensation structures.
  • Experience applying processes and guidelines for internal and external candidate hires.
  • Knowledge and understanding of HR related regulations and laws (e.g. FLSA; COBRA; ADA; FMLA; etc.).
  • Knowledge in passive sourcing approaches, tools, and technologies.
  • Demonstrated success implementing sourcing strategies and process improvement initiatives.
  • Proficiency in MS office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and using an applicant tracking system.
  • Experience with internet sourcing and recruiting strategies and practices.
