Reporting to the Manager, Pricing & Promo Strategy, the Pricing & Promo Consultant's primary function is strategic planning and optimization of promotional activity at Mark’s. The Consultant leverages expertise across merchandising, marketing and analytics teams to build strategy and recommendations that maximize the efficiency & impact of product promotions. The Consultant will present their findings and recommendations to achieving business & customer related objectives at regularly scheduled meetings. The Pricing & Promo Consultant is expected to make recommendations for offer optimization and if necessary, trade off changes between departments, marketing channels and calendar events. This role offers a high level of autonomy while delivering quality and efficiency in the promotional program. The role will provide consultation for Merchant and Marketing teams on offer selection, customer incentives and promotional strategy. You will ensure promotions meet optimal product, price and frequency while best showcasing our assortment to maximize customer value, engagement and sales goals. You will organize & prepare regular strategy reviews. Facilitate recommendations with effective presentation, tracking and follow up to ensure stakeholders are executing the action plan. Support the build of print flyer and postcard creative layouts as required to ensure they meet financial targets and qualitative objectives.
