About The Position

Guidehouse is seeking a Consultant or a Senior Consultant to support the firm's engagements with NYC. The State and Local Government practice serves clients in the areas of business design, organizational strategy, program strategy, implementation of large programs, market analysis, financial modeling, operational analysis, process improvement, change management, technology strategy and transformation, compliance monitoring, program management, and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University
  • Minimum of 1+ (ONE) years of overall work experience for a consultant and Minimum of 3+ (THREE) years overall work experience for a senior consultant, ideally consulting experience or experience in related field
  • Critical thinking to solve problems and develop innovative solutions to client’s management and operational challenges
  • Must currently reside within New York City metropolitan area
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel to client locations, GH Office locations as needed to support client engagements within and outside of the New York City market
  • No sponsorship is available for this position

  • Experience managing challenging projects and serving clients
  • Experience facilitating meetings and public speaking with large groups
