Red Hat•Remote US FL, TX
•$96,440 - $154,190

About The Position

The Red Hat Services team is seeking a Consultant to implement practical AI solutions that address customer challenges using Red Hat OpenShift and Red Hat AI. The role is hands-on throughout technical deployments, delivering working outcomes such as cost-optimized inference, model services with integrated chargeback, and operationalized AI agents. The Consultant partners with customer teams to turn defined goals and delivery dates into functional implementations, and creates reusable assets—including reference architectures, runbooks, and harnesses—so customer platform teams can sustain and build on the work after delivery. The Consultant advocates for Red Hat AI solutions and combines technical expertise with interpersonal skills to solve client problems and scale enterprise AI deployments. The role involves implementing solutions for customer models, data, and operational AI; collaborating with diverse technical teams and stakeholders; and mentoring customer engineers and colleagues toward self-sufficiency. The position requires an active TS/SCI clearance, residence in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business, and willingness to travel to customer sites throughout North America for approximately 30–40 weeks per year, with weekly Monday–Thursday travel. Red Hat provides customized enablement in Red Hat AI technologies and Services solutions. During the first year, the Consultant is expected to develop production-ready solutions integrated with enterprise systems, deliver customer projects as a technical lead, translate customer use cases into project plans, implement complex large-scale solutions, and share lessons and practices with internal and external communities.
