ATS is seeking an Engineering Technician and Consultant to provide Technical Administrative Support at our ATS Houston office in Conroe, TX. This is a fulltime position, eligible for overtime, with most of the work accomplished at the office in Conroe and a small amount of work conducted off-site at customer locations throughout the US. This position is best suited for a technically oriented junior technician with strong administrative skills. Must be local/commutable to Conroe, TX or willing to relocate at your own expense.

Requirements

  • Able to utilize technical knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with database systems strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive financial and client information with confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate clearly with both internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of technical accuracy in all work performed.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-starter, technically oriented, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Experience using standard office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners, fax machines).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
  • Applicants must pass a drug screen and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • A requirement of this position is access to information that is subject to U.S. export controls under the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (“ITAR”). Responsibilities

  • Provide direct technical support with reports and data entry/invoicing for a team of engineers and technicians.
  • Act as a liaison between engineers, management and customers during current and projected projects.
  • Utilizing technical knowledge, assist with quotes, Purchase Orders, and final report completion for accuracy and validity.
  • Perform related technical administrative tasks and special projects as assigned by management.
