About The Position

As a Facility Maintenance Technician, you will assist in maintaining and repairing various building systems, including lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and general facility infrastructure. You will gain experience in electrical troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, carpentry, painting, and grounds maintenance, ensuring our warehouse facilities remain safe, efficient, and well-maintained. Additionally, this role provides opportunities to cross-train in other maintenance disciplines, including material handling equipment and refrigeration systems.

Requirements

  • Previous hands-on experience in building maintenance, electrical work, plumbing, or carpentry preferred.
  • Familiarity with electrical troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, and general facility maintenance.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to maintenance.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and perform tasks in a cold storage environment.

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA, electrical, or HVAC certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility systems, including lighting fixtures, plumbing, and general building infrastructure.
  • Assist with electrical troubleshooting and minor repairs under supervision.
  • Support general mechanical repairs, carpentry, painting, and basic HVAC maintenance.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.
  • Perform general grounds maintenance, including snow removal, landscaping, and exterior upkeep.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies while performing duties.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to support warehouse operations and facility improvements.
  • Cross-train in other maintenance areas such as material handling equipment (MHE) and refrigeration systems for career growth.
