About The Position

Greenbrook Mental Wellness Centers is seeking a Consultation Coordinator to serve as a critical link between prospective patients and life-changing treatment. In this role, you’ll guide individuals through their mental health journey—from initial consultation through treatment readiness—while delivering an exceptional, compassionate experience. Requirements

  • Strong passion for patient care and customer experience, especially within a mental health setting
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and guide patients through sensitive conversations
  • High level of organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Self-starter mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving healthcare environment

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Psychology, or related field preferred
  • Equivalent experience or certifications such as Medical Assistant may be considered
  • 3+ years of experience in a mental health, healthcare, or patient care setting preferred
  • Experience working with insurance verification, benefits education, or financial counseling is a plus
  • Familiarity with EHR systems (AdvancedMD, Salesforce preferred)
  • Knowledge of insurance payers and medical necessity guidelines is highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Lead patients through the consultation and intake journey with empathy and confidence
  • Clearly explain treatment options, insurance coverage, and financial expectations
  • Use strong listening and interviewing skills to understand patient needs
  • Keep patients moving forward—follow up, remove barriers, and drive conversion
  • Schedule appointments and maintain accurate records in CRM/EHR systems
  • Partner with clinical and operations teams to deliver a seamless experience
