About The Position
Greenbrook Mental Wellness Centers is seeking a Consultation Coordinator to serve as a critical link between prospective patients and life-changing treatment. In this role, you’ll guide individuals through their mental health journey—from initial consultation through treatment readiness—while delivering an exceptional, compassionate experience. Requirements
- Strong passion for patient care and customer experience, especially within a mental health setting
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and guide patients through sensitive conversations
- High level of organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self-starter mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving healthcare environment

Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Psychology, or related field preferred
- Equivalent experience or certifications such as Medical Assistant may be considered
- 3+ years of experience in a mental health, healthcare, or patient care setting preferred
- Experience working with insurance verification, benefits education, or financial counseling is a plus
- Familiarity with EHR systems (AdvancedMD, Salesforce preferred)
- Knowledge of insurance payers and medical necessity guidelines is highly desirable
Responsibilities
- Lead patients through the consultation and intake journey with empathy and confidence
- Clearly explain treatment options, insurance coverage, and financial expectations
- Use strong listening and interviewing skills to understand patient needs
- Keep patients moving forward—follow up, remove barriers, and drive conversion
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate records in CRM/EHR systems
- Partner with clinical and operations teams to deliver a seamless experience
