As a Construction Technology Analyst for PCL Constructors Inc. in Richmond, British Columbia, you'll have the opportunity to support our team as we build legacy projects in our communities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in computer technology or a related discipline.
  • 8 years of progressive experience in a related field.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on proactive solutions.
  • Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize own work and delegate simple tasks.
  • Results-oriented and has project management experience.
  • Knowledge of change management methodologies.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.

Responsibilities

  • Resolves user-reported problems using available tools and following procedures and policies for handling support cases.
  • District jobsite setup and turndown, including remote support.
  • Plans, creates, and delivers technical training and other knowledge resources.
  • Administers and monitors district office and construction site server resources and technology solutions to ensure optimal operation, and responds to issues.
  • Accurate and timely logging of problems, and resolutions to problems, in problem-management database.
  • Assists and coaches other team members with technical issues and acts as an escalation point.
  • Actively seeks out issues, problems, and opportunities, and creates solutions.
  • Solicits feedback from operational project teams to identify innovations, challenges, and issues.
  • Awareness of district strategic plan and alignment with Business Technology initiatives.
  • Provides implementation support on corporate and regional initiatives.
