About The Position

Orkin is hiring a Construction Technician to install pest and home protection systems and perform home-improvement services such as attic remediation, crawlspace encapsulation, and insulation work. The role is hands-on and includes light carpentry, customer communication, and maintaining equipment and completing reports on a handheld device. Technicians work collaboratively with a crew while also managing their daily schedule independently.

Orkin provides paid training, tools, a company vehicle, fuel card, and mobile device. The position offers starting pay of $20+ per hour based on experience, along with benefits and paid time off.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience using a metal brake to bend or shape metal components.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to obtain a state pesticide license within 90 days; company-paid training is provided.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work safely in attics or crawlspaces.
• Must wear personal protective equipment, including an OSHA-compliant respirator, as required.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to customer service.
• Team player with a positive, professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily schedule.
• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions, confined spaces, and on roofs.

• Construction, roofing, HVAC, or maintenance experience.

Responsibilities
