About The Position

Orkin is hiring a Construction Technician for hands-on work installing pest and home protection systems. The role includes attic remediation, crawlspace encapsulation, insulation, radiant barrier installation, and light carpentry to help customers protect their homes and improve energy efficiency. No prior pest control experience is required; Orkin provides paid training. The position offers a company vehicle, fuel card, mobile device, and tools.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to obtain a state pesticide license within 90 days; company-paid training is provided.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work safely in attics or crawlspaces.
• Must wear required PPE, including an OSHA-compliant respirator, as required.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to customer service.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily schedule.
• Team-oriented, positive, and professional attitude.
• Comfort working in varying weather conditions, confined spaces, and on roofs.

Nice To Haves

• Construction, roofing, HVAC, or maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and install pest and home protection systems.
• Complete attic and crawlspace services, including encapsulation and insulation.
• Perform light carpentry work.
• Communicate clearly with customers.
• Maintain company equipment.
• Complete reports using a handheld device.
