About The Position

Develop innovative, timely, practical, actionable, and technically sound solutions to challenges in an active construction environment. Potential issues include erecting structural steel, installing process piping, code compliance, electrical systems, wastewater management, and other construction-related matters. Work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members. The position requires Secret clearance and a bachelor's degree. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Requirements

• Experience providing technical leadership for construction activities involving structural steel, welding operations, high-voltage electrical systems, and process piping.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3 and B31.8, Building Code Requirements, AWS, ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, NFPA, NEC, and ASME Y14.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts, changes, and details in an active construction environment and work with a team of design engineers, construction management, client technical leadership, and client operators and technicians.
• Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Autodesk Inventor, Plant 3D, Navisworks, and project management principles.
• Knowledge of U.S. Government design review processes such as CoDR, PDR, and CDR.
