About The Position

Wood is hiring a Construction Tech to work on its Pronghorn Operating project in the Powder River Basin area between Gillette and Buffalo, Wyoming. The role involves safely operating construction equipment, supporting equipment operators, maintaining equipment and trailers, and following company safety rules. Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions. Wood requires authorization to work lawfully in the United States without sponsorship.

Requirements

• Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
• Must have general knowledge of equipment and trailers.
• Must have a Class A CDL license or be able to obtain one within six months of employment.
• Ability to weld and operate a cutting torch.
• Ability to spot for an operator using a shovel and probe.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background test.
• Authorization to work lawfully in the United States without sponsorship from Wood is required.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of poly pipe fusing is helpful; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a backhoe and skid steer.
• Spot for operators and others as needed.
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment and trailers.
• Perform safety inspections and comply with company safety rules.
• Perform other duties as determined.
