Requirements

Geomatics/Survey Technology Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution or equivalent required.
5 years of survey experience in construction layout services, topographic surveys, control surveys, and as built surveys on heavy civil/industrial jobsites required.
Previous surveying experience using AutoCAD programs, TBC, and Civil 3D required.
Proficient with RTK GPS, Machine Control, and Robotic Total Station equipment.
CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 required.
Valid Class 5 driver's license required.
Reliable means of transportation required.
Proficient English language skills required.

Nice To Haves

RPAS Advanced Pilot Certificate considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Operate Survey GPS/Total Station equipment (TOPCON/TRIMBLE) on civil/heavy industrial jobsites.
Set up and troubleshoot GPS Machine Control Systems.
Perform surveys to determine volume quantities for progress billing and performing as built surveys.
Calculate given elevations/measurements from drawings and perform layout, of the following but not limited to: Roadwork, Earthwork, Concrete, and Underground Services
Train and support field staff.
