About The Position

The Construction Surveillance Technician’s primary function is to provide day to day security in support of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) & Special Access Program (SAP) construction efforts. Performance shall include: Assesses, identifies and communications recommendations for improvements of policies, procedures, or systems. Identifies threats, vulnerabilities, and potential risks. Drafts security incident reports and briefs government and civilian agencies including military senior leaders. Manages uniformed escort personnel and associated logs; assigns, trains, briefs site security duties and ensures timely reporting of security incidents to site lead. Follow and enforce customers’ Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Perform miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the contractor site lead and/or the Senior Security Representative. Shall conduct inspections of materials being delivered for utilization in construction of secure spaces. Will photograph and continuously monitor the construction of secure spaces and document all steps in order to support final accreditation packets.

Requirements

  • 1 + years of related experience
  • Top Secret/SCI clearance must currently be possessed.
  • Must be willing and able to obtain up to a TS/SCI with CI polygraph.
  • US Citizenship Required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree is desired and counts towards 4 years of experience.
  • Associates degree counts towards 2 years of experience.
  • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts towards 3 years of experience.
  • Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts towards 5 years of experience.
  • Knowledgeable on Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 (on SCIFs and compliance with uniform IC physical and technical security requirements)
