About The Position

Sigma Defense is seeking a Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) experienced in construction and trained in accordance with ICD-705 to ensure the security integrity of a construction site. The CST conducts surveillance during construction to ensure requirements are met and approved throughout site preparation, construction, and lockdown, and that work is executed as designed and remains free from security hazards. The position supports high-security construction projects such as SCIFs and data centers. The role is on-site at Creech AFB, Nevada, and reports operationally to the SSM.

Requirements

At least 3 years of relevant construction experience.
4–6 years of experience and/or certifications in Special Program Security Credential (SPSC), Physical Security Professional (PSP), Certified Security Manager (CSM), or Construction Surveillance Technician (CST).
Strong experience and knowledge in both security and construction.
Demonstrated experience with SCIF/SAP construction standards.
Strong experience with Windows and Microsoft Suite.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must possess or be able to obtain an active TS/SCI security clearance or higher; clearance may be sponsored for the right candidate.
Some college coursework completed at an accredited college or university in an unspecified field of study.

Responsibilities

Provide surveillance whenever construction laborers access the construction site.
Ensure the security and integrity of high-security construction projects by monitoring personnel, inspecting materials, and enforcing ICD-705.
Identify security threats.
Document daily activities and control site access.
Prevent the introduction of unauthorized devices.
