About The Position

At MasTec Communications Group, the Construction Supervisor supports all phases of utility construction for a variety of telecommunications projects. The role develops team members’ skills and knowledge of aerial and underground telecom construction, reinforces the company-wide safety culture, and guides crews to meet deadlines and deliver quality projects. The supervisor provides customer service when interfacing with customers and directs multiple crews and their job-site activities. The position involves a hands-on approach to field work, troubleshooting, and coaching and mentoring team members.

Requirements

• Track record of completing work with a high level of quality.
• Hands-on approach to work and ability to solve difficult problems.
• Experienced leader who has supported the day-to-day needs of a construction crew.
• Knowledge of the telecommunications construction industry, including coax splicing, fiber splicing, directional drilling, and map reading.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn custom software.
• Valid driver’s license; applicants are subject to a Motor Vehicle Record review and must meet company standards for a safe driving record.
