Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in network infrastructure installation or low-voltage construction, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Proven ability to supervise network or low-voltage construction projects, preferably in data center or large-scale industrial environments.
Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems, fiber optics, and networking hardware.
Familiarity with industry standards such as TIA/EIA, BICSI, NFPA, and construction safety practices.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of managing subcontractor performance effectively.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage schedules and project timelines.
Pre-employment screening, including background check and substance testing may be required according to company policies.
Must provide own steel-toed work boots; other PPE will be supplied.
Must be able to reliably commute to the work site daily or have plans to relocate before starting work.
Must be comfortable working a rotational schedule, which includes day and night shifts as well as weekend work, based on project needs.

Nice To Haves

An associate degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or Information Technology is preferred.
A bachelor’s degree is advantageous for candidates overseeing larger teams or complex projects.
Equivalent military or trade school experience in low-voltage systems or network infrastructure will also be considered.
Experience in data center environments or other mission-critical facilities (e.g., hospitals, telecom hubs, or industrial plants) is strongly preferred.
Certifications such as BICSI, RCDD, or OSHA 30 are a plus.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of subcontractors and technicians installing network infrastructure, including structured cabling, fiber optic systems, and related equipment.
Review construction drawings, specifications, and work packages to ensure installations meet design standards and client requirements.
Monitor progress against the project schedule and provide status updates to the Construction Manager or Project Manager.
Conduct inspections and quality checks to confirm adherence to industry standards (e.g., TIA/EIA, BICSI), safety protocols, and company procedures.
Oversee material deliveries, equipment staging, and inventory tracking for network components.
Troubleshoot field issues and provide technical guidance to subcontractors as needed.
Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and IT teams to ensure proper integration of network systems within the overall data center build-out.
Maintain documentation of completed work, inspections, and change orders.
Support commissioning and testing activities to validate system performance prior to handover.

Benefits

The expected hourly range for this role is $43.00 to 53.00 USD.
Per Diem amount of $155.00 and project allowance, when applicable
15% night-shift premium for eligible roles, when applicable
