About The Position

JL Construction Corp of Springfield, MA is looking to hire a full-time Construction Superintendent. This role is essential in all phases of the construction project from planning to completion. The Superintendent will monitor daily operations with an emphasis on budgeting, timeline, and health/safety compliance. Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience in excavation/horizontal construction.
• Ability to interpret bid documents, plans and all other related project/construction documents.
• Knowledge of local quality, safety and health for construction job sites (MA/ CT).
• OSHA Certified.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn industry-specific software programs quickly.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel locally to various job sites/meetings as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Degree in construction engineering management, civil engineering, or a related engineering field.
