The Construction Superintendent is responsible for managing and directing all field operations associated with assigned construction projects. This position serves as the primary on-site leader and is responsible for coordinating subcontractors, managing daily construction activities, maintaining project schedules, enforcing safety requirements, and ensuring quality workmanship. Depending on project requirements, the Superintendent may also serve in a dual-hat or triple-hat capacity as the Project Quality Control Manager (QCM) and/or Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO). When assigned, the Superintendent is responsible for implementing and administering project-specific Quality Control and Safety programs in compliance with contract requirements, EM 385-1-1 standards, company policies, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The Superintendent works closely with Project Managers, clients, subcontractors, inspectors, and project stakeholders to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in strict accordance with project specifications and contract requirements.
