About The Position

The leading charter school general contractor and developer in the Southeast is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead ground-up K-12 charter school projects in Nashville and surrounding markets. The firm delivers educational facilities with a focus on schedule, safety, and client satisfaction. Requirements

At least 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Proficiency with project management software and reporting tools.

Nice To Haves

Experience managing ground-up K-12, charter school, or institutional projects.
OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

Manage all on-site construction activities from start to finish.
Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors, and inspections.
Enforce safety standards and maintain a clean, organized jobsite.
Communicate with project managers to align on budget, schedule, and project goals.
Maintain quality control and ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications.
Lead weekly site meetings and provide regular project updates.
Track daily progress and maintain accurate field reports and documentation.
Proactively identify and resolve jobsite issues or delays.
Ensure materials and equipment are delivered on time and stored properly.
