About The Position

Spyder is a construction and restoration company that runs disciplined, well-documented job sites and delivers the same standard on every project. As a Superintendent, you are the on-site leader who keeps the work sequenced, the documentation accurate, and the quality exactly where it needs to be. This role is built for someone who takes pride in running a clean, organized site and getting the details right the first time.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of construction experience running or supporting active job sites.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent time running construction projects in the field.
  • Working knowledge of construction methodologies and local, state, and federal building codes.
  • A track record of running a site by process and documentation, not by memory.
  • Willing to travel between job sites, and to stay overnight when a project requires it.
  • Able to work on active job sites: lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in varying weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Experience managing multiple projects or complex scopes at the same time.
  • Strong, hands-on leadership of crews and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

  • Run assigned job sites day to day, from first mobilization through closeout, owning the schedule, site safety, and quality standards.
  • Build and manage the 3-week Look Ahead Schedule with the Project Manager and Foreman, sequencing trades so the work moves without conflict.
  • Produce accurate Daily Site Reports, track RFIs, and keep complete, organized project documentation in Dropbox.
  • Lead and participate in every project walk and inspection, including Pre-Punch, Demo, Rough, Pre-Drywall and Paint, Final Punch, and Closeout, and carry every action item to completion.
  • Manage and track punch list items to timely, quality resolution.
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, Foremen, and field labor to hold code compliance, workmanship quality, and schedule.
  • Run daily site safety inspections and keep safety documentation current and accurate.
