About The Position

We are seeking two detail-oriented and proactive Construction Superintendent to join our dynamic team in Greensboro NC & Wilmington NC. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of construction projects by ensuring effective coordination, quality control, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be organized, communicative, and committed to maintaining high standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction project coordination or management
Strong understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of construction documentation, including RFIs, ASIs, and submittments
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Must be willing to travel.

Responsibilities

Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in the critical path to ensure timely project completion
Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed
Communicate with the project team regarding Architectural Supplemental Instructions (ASI’s), Requests for Information (RFI’s), and Material Submittals
Ensure that subcontractors are fully executing and complying with their contracted scope of work
Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions to meet regulatory standards
Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards
Detect conflicts in construction progress and communicate issues to the project team for resolution
Maintain a detailed daily log of activities to track project progress and issues
Accountable for on-time project completion.
Ensure construction complies with approved plans, specifications, and local codes.
Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and vendors.
Monitor and ensure timely completion of all assigned work.
Direct and coordinate field operations in accordance with project plans.
Communicate plan conflicts or required revisions to the project team before proceeding with changes.
Establish and enforce job site quality control standards.
Ensure all work meets quality and project requirements.
Do not enter into monetary agreements, including subcontracts, change orders, or work authorizations.
Submit all requests for cost or scope changes to management for approval before any related work begins.
