About The Position

Joseph's Remodeling Solutions is seeking a hands-on Superintendent/Project Leader who values craftsmanship and is passionate about creating high-quality renovations. This role involves managing projects from start to finish, working alongside a team of dedicated craftsmen, and cultivating lasting relationships with clients. The company focuses on superior quality, workmanship, and attention to detail in home remodeling and renovations on the Cumberland Plateau in Tennessee.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of remodeling experience and leadership experience required
Valid Driver's License
Computer and smart-phone literate. and proficient with construction management software and email
Framing experience
Custom carpentry experience
Interior and exterior remodeling including window and door replacements
Good organizational and time management skills
All prospective hires are required to complete a pre-employment drug screening as well as a background check

Nice To Haves

Experience with plumbing, electrical, tile and various trades is preferred
Vocational training preferred
BuilderTrend and Exaktime knowledge is highly desirable but not required
Cabinet and Flooring installation experience a plus

Responsibilities

Manage and produce projects on time and on budget
Follow direction; can work from building plans and blueprints and communicate with architects and designers.
Supervise/manage/service subcontractors and customers
Demonstrates excellent communication skills and works well with homeowners in the high-end remodeling market
Daily oversight of the progress on the project, including scheduling, ordering materials, and other needed Jobsite resources
Layout and install stairs, doors, windows, trim, cabinets, kitchens, and baths
Measure cut, or shape wood, composite, drywall, and other materials
Construct framing for additions, decks, porches, and remodeling projects.
Perform finish carpentry work
Diagnose and remedy older structures in need of repair or renovation
Comprehend and execute tasks in a precise and timely manner
Seek additional responsibility and guidance from company management as needed to enhance existing skills, learn new skills, and create potential advancement within the company
Work safely at all times and wear company-provided safety gear as required.
Supervise safety of the team. Lead weekly safety meetings.
Maintain and complete any and all company-required paperwork related to the project
Review and verify accuracy of electronic timesheets of the team.
Post daily job logs in the construction management app.
