About The Position

The Construction Superintendent I supports all field operations to ensure that the jobsite is clean, orderly and maintained in a safe condition. The primary objective is to maintain the project in a professional and orderly manner and labor for miscellaneous carpentry and housekeeping items are managed daily. Superintendents also implement and enforce safety and quality control policies among CPG employees and subcontractors.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ of verifiable experience with thorough knowledge of trades
Master Builder
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project & Outlook) preferred
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record (MVR) review, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Positions requiring driving must have an MVR that meets company and insurance carrier standards.

Nice To Haves

Experience in mission critical construction is preferred

Responsibilities

Overall responsibility for project housekeeping. Manage the daily labor team and prioritize work schedules of daily activities and projects.
Communicate with project team daily regarding areas of activity for improvement or maintenance.
Ensure all equipment movement and material handling and unloading of material is done so utilizing all safety measures governing these activities.
Coordinate with vendors supporting the project for timely maintenance / upkeep, such as trash vendor.
Maintain daily onsite presence providing continual field supervision to monitor activities and field coordination.
Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.
Install protection material around jobsite as directed by Superintendents.
Ensure walk paths are well maintained, clear from debris and support the project.
Opening the jobsite at beginning of the day and securing the jobsite at the end of the day.
Supervise all subcontractors, consultants, and vendors daily. This supervision shall ensure adequate manpower is available for each task and compliant work performed.
Monitor project security personnel.
