This is a temporary, contract position based out of Denver, CO. The role involves ensuring the execution of overhead/underground construction duties, including placing hard-line Connectivity & Platforms, framing and stranding poles, transferring facilities, placing Connectivity & Platforms in joint trench, and safe operation of construction vehicles and trailers. The position requires accurate record keeping of project start dates, milestone dates, production logs, material costs, and labor expenditures. The specialist will also instruct work site safety standards, conduct site visits for compliance, and participate in safety meetings. This role supports the coordination of projects, generates logs and reports, and reviews customer requests and complaints. Performance of the construction crew will be monitored against established goals. The role involves coordinating and supervising daily activities of support, technical, or production staff, setting priorities, assigning tasks, and checking work. Ensuring all work meets or exceeds Client, Local, State, or Federal standards and regulations is a primary responsibility. Key duties include updating JT or Polaris entries for path verification, acting as the primary contractor interface in the field and liaison with Regional network Technicians, ensuring new or upgraded power supply is operational before cut dates, and maintaining overall responsibility for the quality of the NGAN product from contractor build to operations handoff. It is expected that this role will be in the field 90% of the time.
