About The Position

Under the supervision of the project manager, the construction site coordinator plays a key role in the day-to-day management of site activities. Drawing on their experience in the building industry, they oversee the technical, administrative, and financial aspects of the project, while ensuring compliance with plans, schedules, and quality and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Relevant education or experience in construction project management, civil engineering, or building engineering
  • Proficiency with computer software (Excel, MS Project)
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret plans and specifications
  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to follow-through (technical and financial)

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in site coordination meetings
  • Oversee all site activities (progress, issues, priorities)
  • Compile the technical and administrative data needed to produce daily and weekly reports
  • Monitor extra work (additional tasks) and contribute to the project’s financial oversight
  • Analyze plans and specifications to support the execution of the work
  • Provide technical oversight and engineering management for projects
  • Participate in the development and monitoring of schedules
  • Coordinate activities among various stakeholders (subcontractors, client, internal team)
  • Perform various administrative tasks related to the project
