Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in commercial construction (concrete and masonry restoration preferred).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Strong sales and project management skills, with a stronger emphasis on sales.
  • Thorough knowledge of the construction industry is beneficial.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in fulfilling branch marketing goals and achieving sales targets.
  • Perform takeoffs from blueprints and existing structures.
  • Develop estimates and write client proposals.
  • Administer contracts, develop project schedules, and manage costing.
  • Supervise projects and ensure quality control.
  • Prepare customer billings and assist in collection efforts.
  • Engage in ongoing business development with architects, owners, engineers, and general contractors.
  • Develop opportunities to sell Western's services in concrete/masonry restoration, waterproofing, etc.
  • Assist with the implementation of branch marketing goals and action plans.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with current and potential clients.
  • Provide customer support from start to finish of all projects.
  • Accurately estimate and price all work to maximize volume and profitability.
  • Prepare client proposals and follow up to close sales.
  • Monitor and supervise project deployment to ensure quality and timely execution.
  • Interact with Superintendents and Foremen to meet customer requirements and timelines.
  • Document, coordinate, and communicate project change orders.
  • Ensure job files are maintained and complete.
  • Assist in the training and development of sales and field personnel.
  • Ensure accurate and timely billings and assist in collection efforts.
  • Maintain a high level of technical expertise through seminars and training.
  • Contribute to operating effectiveness by developing internal and external branch relationships.
  • Join and participate in industry-related organizations for networking and business development.
