About The Position

We are looking for a high-energy Account Manager to dominate the local market. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in the solid waste industry or a related industrial field (construction, logistics, heavy equipment).
  • A verifiable track record of exceeding revenue quotas and "hunting" new business in a B2B environment.
  • Excel at building rapport with both the "boots on the ground" at the jobsite and the "suits in the office" making procurement decisions.
  • Thrive in high-stress, fast-paced environments and don't need a map to find the next big opportunity.
  • Willingness to perform site visits and engage directly with operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located is required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a clinical sales strategy to acquire high-value construction and industrial accounts.
  • Act as a strategic partner to your clients, offering specialized waste and environmental solutions that keep their jobsites compliant and efficient.
  • Manage, retain, and "upsell" within an existing book of business, ensuring we are the primary provider for all their service needs.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by tracking local development projects, competitive shifts, and infrastructure trends to position our services first.
  • Represent the brand at trade shows, Chamber of Commerce events, and industry-specific associations to build a powerful referral engine.
