About The Position

Environmental and Safety Solutions, Inc. (ESS) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Safety Associate to implement and manage health and safety practices in accordance with OSHA regulations and client standards. The role serves as the project's primary EHS representative in a fast-paced, compliance-driven construction environment, supporting the project management team and coordinating with the owner or client onsite HSE professional representative, facility management, and subcontractors.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of continuous experience in construction safety.
• OSHA 510 certification is mandatory.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and digital safety platforms.
• Ability to work independently and manage site safety with minimal supervision.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Nice To Haves

• CHST certification is preferred.
• Strong background in large facility or data center builds.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary EHS representative for the project and ensure compliance with safety regulations and contract requirements.
• Support the project management team with on-site safety inspections, reporting, and training coordination.
• Conduct and document daily job-site safety inspections.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date safety logs, incident reports, and OSHA injury and illness records.
• Interface with regulatory agencies such as OSHA as needed.
• Provide ongoing safety training and toolbox talks to on-site personnel.
• Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with facility management and subcontractors to ensure alignment with EHS standards.
• Communicate effectively with the owner or client onsite HSE professional representative.
