About The Position

First Coast Security (FCS) is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee the physical security scope on an active data center construction site near New Florence, MO. This role involves managing the security package from design through installation and closeout, working collaboratively with the general contractor, client's team, and security integrators. The position requires a hands-on approach, including attending construction meetings, site walks, plan reviews, and ensuring the security scope stays on schedule and within budget. Requirements

  • 5+ years of construction or capital project management experience.
  • Proven ability to manage vendors, schedules, and budgets on active construction sites.
  • Proficiency reading construction plans, elevations, and design and construction documents.
  • Working knowledge of physical security systems such as access control, intrusion detection, and camera surveillance.
  • Willingness to be on-site at the construction location and to travel occasionally for training and client meetings (up to approximately 20%).

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience on data center, mission-critical, or other high-security builds.
  • Familiarity with Lenel access control systems.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Responsibilities

  • Own the physical security scope on an active data center construction site from design through installation and closeout.
  • Manage security integrator vendors against scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Read and work from construction plans, elevations, and design documents across architectural, electrical, and telecommunications disciplines.
  • Attend construction planning and coordination meetings and represent the security scope.
  • Run QA/QC on installed security systems including access control, intrusion detection, camera surveillance, and perimeter protection.
  • Track change orders, review vendor invoices for accuracy, and make recommendations to program leadership.
  • Provide regular status updates on schedule, budget, and installation progress.
