About The Position

The Construction Project Manager oversees and leads the daily operations of multiple commercial construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they align with defined scope, schedules, and budgetary objectives. The role involves building effective customer relationships, leading project teams, and delivering high-quality outcomes that meet organizational and client expectations. The position is part of the Construction Division’s Project Management team and reports to the Vice President of Construction. It is onsite in Medina, Ohio, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience within a commercial construction organization, with a strong understanding of industry practices and standards.
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and complete accurate material takeoffs.
Extensive knowledge of construction general trades and their application in commercial projects.
Demonstrated success achieving project goals and delivering high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management; not required with sufficient experience.

Responsibilities

Manage 3–5 concurrent commercial construction projects valued from $30,000 to over $2 million, keeping them aligned with scope, schedule, and financial targets.
Review proposals from the Pre-Construction Team, negotiate and award contracts, and oversee subcontractor and vendor performance to ensure scope and quality expectations are met.
Develop and manage project schedules using MS Project software, coordinate with Project Coordinators and Site Supervisors, and monitor daily progress.
Maintain regular customer communication through updates, progress reports, and meetings to support satisfaction and ongoing business opportunities.
Use proprietary software for project documentation, oversee change orders, review invoices, and ensure close-out documentation is completed and submitted.
