Construction Project Manager
About The Position
Dewberry is seeking a Project Manager to work on construction projects in the greater New York City metropolitan area. Candidates must have prior construction inspection experience on NYSDOT, NYSTA, or NYC public agency projects, along with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or engineering and/or NICET IV certification. Site Manager experience is required. Preferred candidates have office engineering experience with project documentation systems, weekly reports, monthly estimates, change orders, and as-builts. The role also requires managing field staff and working collaboratively with project teams. The projected salary range for this position in New York is $120,000–$155,000 annually; the range may vary based on skills, experience, location, and market conditions. Dewberry will not sponsor a new applicant for work authorization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or engineering and/or NICET IV certification or equivalent.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience.
- Prior construction inspection experience on NYSDOT, NYSTA, or NYC public agency projects.
- Site Manager experience.
- Excellent communication and client relations skills.
- Ability to manage field staff and work as a team player.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
