About The Position

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is hiring a Construction Project Manager I to join its National Mission Critical team. The role administers assigned projects, including specific phases of project management under supervision, and works with schedules, cost projections, contracts, and project status reports. The position requires travel as needed for projects.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management/Science, or equivalent work experience.
At least 4 years of proven experience in the commercial construction industry.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S., with employment eligibility verification.

Nice To Haves

Mission Critical Data Center project experience.
Proven knowledge of complex mission critical MEP systems.
Thorough understanding of early turnover dates and mission critical commissioning processes.
Experience with critical work Methods of Procedures processes.
Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office, Procore, P6, and other management tools.
Proactive and effective communication, customer focus, and a high level of professionalism, honesty, and integrity.

Responsibilities

Manage assigned project team members and subcontractors.
Cultivate and grow relationships with project owners and the professional groups involved in projects.
Participate in preconstruction, including developing bid procedures, reviewing bids, qualifying vendors and subcontractors, estimating, and scheduling.
Manage the Quality Assurance/Quality Control program and required commissioning processes.
Provide leadership in construction risk evaluation, contract negotiations, and budget decisions.
Prepare and manage project budgets and schedules.
Lead construction progress meetings.
Oversee design development.
Travel as needed for projects.
