Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity. Manage aspects of large-scale power generation simple cycle and combined cycle projects as assigned by the site manager or project manager, such as technical, construction, quality, cost, and schedule. Support the development and management of specific portions of the project budget and schedule, ensuring alignment with the project scope and objectives. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and efficient delivery of project deliverables. Support the development, execution, and commissioning of the project, including adherence to safety standards, system turnover packages, system walkdowns, punch list management, coordination with operations, and system documentation. Provide regular and accurate reports on project status, milestones, risks, and issues to the project manager or leader and other relevant parties. Identify and implement opportunities for improvement and innovation in project management processes and practices. Contribute to the overall success of the project and carry out additional tasks as requested or given. Position requires regular field presence at construction sites and is subject to temporary assignment policies.

Requirements

• Construction Project Manager I: 0-2 years experience in leading and managing complex projects in the same or related domain
• Construction Project Manager II: 3+ years of experience in leading and managing complex projects in the same or related domain
• Has solid knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, tools and best practices, and applies them to solve project problems and issues.
• Demonstrates skills in leading, motivating, and coaching project teams and stakeholders, and in managing changes, risks, and uncertainties.
• Communicates clearly and professionally with diverse audiences, using appropriate verbal, written, and visual techniques.
• Ability to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control, and close complex projects within time, cost, and quality constraints, using project management tools and software.
• Ability to create and sustain a positive project culture, adapt to changing project requirements and environments, and implement lessons learned and best practices.

Nice To Haves

• Electrical or mechanical engineering background highly preferred.
• Knowledge of power generation, transmission, distribution, and energy markets.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• EIT, PE, PMP, PMI-CP
