About The Position

This role serves as an on-site resource advising the Client’s Project Management team for a manufacturing facility brownfield project with a CapEx in the $70-$100M USD range, where MEP is the main cost element. The project duration is approximately 6 weeks. The location listed is for administrative purposes only, and the specific project site cannot be publicly disclosed due to confidentiality requirements. Qualified candidates will receive more details during the recruitment process.

Requirements

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture
• Eight (8) or more years of experience in construction management
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent project management skills
• Proficiency in software including Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Oracle Unifier and/or ProCore

Responsibilities

• Serve as an on-site resource advising the Client’s Project Management team.
• Attend construction meetings and review Design-Builder’s weekly reports to assess physical progress against baseline schedule milestones and flag deviations.
• Advise Client on the potential schedule and cost impacts of identified deviations.
• Monitor actual costs and committed spending against the approved budget and identify variances.
• Recommend corrective actions and mitigation strategies to bring construction back into alignment with plan and budget.
• Support Client’s Project Management team with reporting potential cost and schedule impacts to project stakeholders.
• Provide a Weekly Site Progress Report summarizing on-site observed deviations from plan/budget, root cause analysis, and recommended corrective actions.
• Provide Weekly Risk Register Updates, documenting key project risks related to Design-Builder’s scope of work, ranked by level and inclusive of mitigation actions and deadlines.
