About The Position

This opportunity is for a Construction Design/Build Project Manager (DBM) role at ARCO Design/Build, a top design/build construction firm. The position is designed for recent or upcoming graduates who are passionate problem-solvers, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are eager to learn the full lifecycle of construction projects. Requirements

  • Recent or upcoming completion of an accredited Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, Construction Management, Building Science, or Construction Engineering undergraduate or graduate program (other related engineering majors will be considered).
  • A strong interest in the construction process, specifically design/build, tilt-up concrete, industrial builds, etc.
  • Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in construction preferred, but not required.
  • GPA 3.0 or higher preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead every facet of the project from start to finish, including estimating, scheduling, quality control, billing, design coordination, cost tracking, safety, and proposal development.
  • Prepare detailed, reliable project estimates.
  • Collaborate with clients and design teams to shape preliminary concepts into buildable solutions.
  • Participate in proposal meetings, refining scope, reducing costs, and offering value-driven engineering insights.
  • Lead subcontractor selection and buyout.
  • Facilitate bi-weekly site meetings to align teams, resolve challenges, and keep progress on track.
  • Make quick and effective decisions under pressure.
  • Coordinate multiple moving parts to keep projects aligned with scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Monitor processes to maintain the highest standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Transform client feedback into outcomes that exceed expectations.
  • Uphold company values, ensuring client satisfaction.
