About The Position

ARCO/Murray is looking for highly motivated Project Manager Interns who are passionate about the construction process to join the team for the Summer of 2027. At ARCO, every associate is empowered to drive their success. You’ll be responsible for project performance and profit from day one! This internship offers an exciting opportunity for highly motivated students to assist Project Managers with various aspects of construction projects.

Requirements

Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s of Engineering program or related field of study

Nice To Haves

Prior industry internship experience is a plus
Extracurricular involvement is a plus

Responsibilities

Assisting Project Managers with estimating, including describing project proposals and assigning dollar values.
Creating project timelines for subcontractors.
Attending design meetings with owners and teams to understand design and structural engineering aspects.
Managing buyout processes, including sending bid instructions and evaluating subcontractor proposals.
Reviewing shop drawings and submittals with the Project Manager and design team.
Assisting with billing, managing subcontracts, change orders, pay requests, and tracking project costs.
Conducting jobsite visits with the Project Manager and working with Project Superintendents.
Participating in weekly training sessions to understand the role and business operations, with a focus on building trades and leveraging engineering backgrounds.
