CTG is seeking to fill a Construction Project Manager - Chemical Manufacturing position for our client. This role involves planning, directing, and coordinating all phases of construction and capital projects at a chemical plant, from pre-FEED through mechanical completion and handover. The position requires developing and managing project schedules, budgets, cost estimates, and change orders, while coordinating with various engineering and operations teams to minimize production disruptions. A key aspect of this role is enforcing OSHA standards, including Process Safety Management (PSM), and managing Management of Change (MOC) processes. The Construction Project Manager will also ensure contractor compliance with site-specific safety programs and coordinate Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR). Responsibilities include soliciting, evaluating, and awarding bids; managing contracts with various subcontractors and vendors; supervising on-site contractor activities; and reviewing project documentation. Technical oversight includes reviewing engineering drawings and overseeing the installation of process equipment, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and plant standards. Effective stakeholder communication, including providing regular project status updates and coordinating with internal teams and regulatory agencies, is essential.
