CTG is seeking to fill a Construction Project Manager - Chemical Manufacturing position for our client. This role involves planning, directing, and coordinating all phases of construction and capital projects at a chemical plant, from pre-FEED through mechanical completion and handover. The position requires developing and managing project schedules, budgets, cost estimates, and change orders, while coordinating with various engineering and operations teams to minimize production disruptions. A key aspect of this role is ensuring strict adherence to safety and regulatory compliance, including OSHA standards, Process Safety Management (PSM), and Management of Change (MOC) processes. The Construction Project Manager will also be responsible for soliciting, evaluating, and awarding bids, managing contracts with general contractors and specialty subcontractors, and supervising on-site contractor activities to ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence. Technical oversight of engineering drawings, P&IDs, specifications, and construction documents for constructability, as well as overseeing the installation of process equipment, is also a critical function. Furthermore, the role demands effective stakeholder communication, providing regular project status updates to leadership and coordinating with various internal teams and external regulatory agencies.
