About The Position

This is a federal contracting opportunity that we, the Company, are bidding on and has not been awarded. The availability of this position is contingent upon successful award of the contract. We are seeking an experienced Tribal Construction Project Coordinator responsible for reviewing contract plans and specifications for constructability and determining compliance of materials and workmanship by the constructing contractor. Responsible for oversight of construction/renovation projects.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with tribal communities in remote locations.
• 10 years of experience in a construction engineering or technical expertise area.
• Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from an accredited college or university.
• Ten (10) years relevant specialized experience in construction and/or the construction management area.
• Must have prior experience working with tribal communities in remote locations.
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Real ID or Passport in order to undergo commercial airfare travel
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

• Relevant experience in managing residential, commercial, or mixed-use construction projects is highly beneficial.
• Experience with Federal Construction projects is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the construction team with day-to-day operational needs and special projects as required
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, contracts, and technical documents.
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills, with attention to safety and quality.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams, vendors, and community stakeholders.
• Familiarity with construction software tools, scheduling applications, and standard office productivity software.
• Support renovation projects from start to finish but not limited to administrative task as needed.
