About The Position

AECOM Hunt is seeking a Construction Project Analyst based in Dallas, Texas. The position is expected to begin in Summer 2027. The analyst supports project financial and controls activities while developing knowledge of company financial systems, accounting principles, project cost and schedule analysis, earned value, scope control, change management, and scheduling and cost baselines. The role involves researching and collecting project data, conducting initial analyses, and supporting the tracking of project progress, manpower, labor costs, funding, purchase orders, subcontract commitments, and expenditures.

Requirements

Completed bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Industrial Distribution, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Prior internship experience within the construction industry.
Experience working on a live construction site.
Experience engaging with multiple trades on a construction project.

Responsibilities

Research data for use in cost and schedule analysis.
Assist in collecting progress data and reviewing performance trends.
Collect data and prepare initial analyses of manpower, labor hours, and labor cost requirements against budget limitations.
Collect data and prepare initial analyses for tracking actual costs against funding limitations.
Support tracking purchase orders and subcontract commitments and expenditures.
Develop the ability to use project drawings and specifications.
